Random things I've noticed lately...

1. I’ve been home a month and a half and I’m still white.

2. I cannot sleep with open closet doors. Or flashing lights.

3. My kitten wakes up at 6:14 every morning. My alarm is set for 6:20. Her meowing is loud, and wakes us all up.
4. Lily is hilarious. I did a survey with her the other day. These are some of her answers answers:
a. Number: 102 why? Cause it’s the biggest number in the whole wide world.
b. Best Friend: Jenny (she loves me)
c. Halloween Costume: Angel of Darkness
d. Favorite Type of Flower: Lily. Lilies are really beautiful you know… just like me!
e. Type of Car: Pink Limousine
f. Color Hair: Rainbow. How many kids do you want to have? 2 girls—no boys. Named Jennifer and Taylor.

5. Lily didn’t go through terrible two’s, so make up for it she is mastering the sassy six’s.
6. Summer is much better when you have your best friends home. Roni came home last Saturday, and Ally and Courtnie comes home this Saturday. Happy day. (Miss you Kayla ☺ )

7. Going night swimming at the beach with glow sticks is way fun and extremely creepy. Matt figured out my camera has a TON of different settings. Who knew?

7 days till Palo Alto. 15 days till my last day of work. 20 days till Disneyland. 21 days till my Provo family comes to visit. 25 days till Provo. SO excited.

First Post Updates

I'm home for the summer nannying.

Lily is really tired.--so we are having a movie day.

Random updates on life:

I had to say goodbye to my straightener of 4 years. When it decided to try and set my hair on fire--it had to go. So I bought a CHI.

I’m pretty much in love with it.

Appliances have been out to get me. I was making Lily’s lunch one morning and the fridge decided to close on my face. It was swollen and slightly discolored for a while. Be sad you missed it.

I went to the Drive-In with Nicole and the Branch last night. It was great. We made a bed in the trunk, I fell asleep, we took more pictures of our feet than anything else, had annoying girls think we took pictures of them, and laughed… a lot. Of course we missed Brig though. Can’t wait for

the three amigo’s to be reunited.

Don't judge me for calling us the three amigos--or do, I don't care. :)

My dad’s business is starting to take off. He got his first government contract yesterday. Shout-out to him.— Good job daddy!

It’s extremely hot here right now. I wake up at 6:20

for work, and this morning it was already in the 80’s. 6:20 in the morning! Come on San Diego… what’ s the deal?

Right now I’m sitting on my boss’ bed. Lily is watching TV almost asleep. I have this view of the ocean. What could be better?
